Voðría

Sikíronian: Voðría /vɔːðrija/
Voðría (sikírska)

Voðría is one of the nine provinces of the Sikíron Empire in central Adynía, and covers central Nemirkía. It's bordered by the provinces of Andartis beyond the river Geþrus to the west and Kaþún beyond Helkan to the east, the Sjorgús Mountains to the south and the southern coast of Gold Sea to the north.
Voðría's symbol is the swan, and it's main settlements are the provincial capital of Krelissía and Konissía in Voðría, both located along the river Helkan.
The province is dotted with rural villas owned by various prestigious families from Gedirkía and other major cities of the empire, which provide them and the empire with all kinds of produce such as fruits and vegetables, wine, olive oil and wool.

History

During the Paþarían Empire, the province of Nálisinna covered much of the same territory as modern Voðría, and after the empire collapsed and new kingdoms emerged, much of the region was dominated by Pérgal, with Tirúlíon occasionally occupying the easternmost part. The Sikíronians eventually conquered the region in 800 a.Paþ, which marks the beginning of the Sikíron Empire as it exists today.
