Parfelle's River
The wide mouth of this short river empties into Theridon Bay just north and west of the Wind Wall Mountains and their snowmelt that provides its source. Naturally deep and sheltered from the bay by a large sandbar, it provided a natural location for the the new Eldorian that grew into Yaty. Named after the colony's founder there have been several motions in the Yatian Senate to change its name away from the deposed ruling family. Always practical, Yatians have never been willing to assume the costs associated with updating maps and signs to satisfy their desire to eliminate the constant reminder of the Citystate's birth.
