Verdun's Little Sister
With walls of white plaster and supports made from some sort of black, nearly smooth carved rock mined from the Wind Wall Mountains, Vedun’s Little Sister sparkles in the sunlight against the backdrop of the blue waves of Theridon Bay. Located at the southern edge of town and abutting the beach, the caravanserai is the largest in the town of Mora and wholly owned by the Mercenaries' Guild. Its open, multi-winged layout serves as the local chapter house, alehouse to sellswords, and modestly priced accommodation to merchants and their guards. It offers a large communal dining area located in one of two central courtyards and a pair of outdoor baths – one continually heated and one cool and refreshing – in the other. The inn has two bunk rooms located on the east and west wings, both of which offer an excellent view of the large stables where wagons from merchant caravans are invariably parked. The small, private rooms in the rear wings offer a better view, with two suites at the ends of the long halls opening directly onto the beach.
