Stagburn Dale sits between two hills. On top of one is the
Temple of Huvoi. The other is dominated by the Estate of the former Ward Duke.
Seven years ago, Duke Vaughn built a luxurious house at the top of elevated Stagburn Green. He had a particular fondness for this village, and settled here, attracting Commonwealth nobles to the village. Five years later, the Duke died under mysterious circumstances. The subsequent Ward Duke has made his home elsewhere.
Currently, this estate is closed up and vacant. A single caretaker,
Silas, maintains the grounds and patrols the estate.
7 A : The house built by Duke Vaughn is well appointed but now stripped of most of its furniture and furnishings. It has two floors, several balconies, planted gardens (still maintained by Silas), and an attic.
7 B : This was the Duke's stable, but is empty now.
7 C : This was the Duke's guest house. It has three small apartments. Silas the caretaker lives in one of them. He patrols the estate regularly and maintains the buildings and gardens. He mainly keeps to himself, venturing into town only to purchase his favorite tea from
Casper the Herbalist.
