3 - Stagburn Civic Complex
Nestled behind the towering, autumnal oak tree is a large single-story building in good repair. It's obviously an important structure for the town, and the lawn around it is well manicured. Beside the open door and facing the main square is an elevated speaker's platform.
In the main square, behind the Oak, is a large building that serves as the civic offices of the town.
Town Hall
The interior of this building is mostly a spacious room containing many benches and chairs oriented toward a raised platform. It seems to be a meeting hall. Off to one side is a shrine containing a bronze statue of a bearded old man with a stern expression. He's sitting atop a stump, deep in thought.
This tall hall is used for meetings, auctions, speeches, and trials. The town council meets here monthly (and by special arrangement).

Shrine of Vidur
Off to the side of the main hall is a small shrine to the god of justice, Vidur. A small altar sits before the statue. Atop it burns a cone of sweet-smelling incense. The shrine is sometimes used by the Mayor and Forester for special events concerning legal matters.Records Office
The basement of this building is stuffed full of crates and wooden boxes containing wills, deeds, maps, and other records. Annette Talma is the scatterbrained curator and the only one who knows the filing system.
