Novus System

Didome's solar system is a Binary system with two stars orbiting each other. The primary star is called Novus and four planets orbit the star (Yormin, Lok, Didome, and Parous). Novus has a mass of about 68% the mass of the earth's sun. However, it produces 7.3 times less light than the sun and the light it admits is a slightly warmer light (about the color of a cool white light bulb). Thus, in order to be in Novus' habital zone the planets must be closer to the star. For instance, the four planets complete an orbit in about an Earth year or less; Didome orbits one every 92.2 Earth days.   The other star is Lok's Palace and is a much smaller dimmer star with two planets in orbit (Roos , and Cerber). The star has a mass of only 9.2% the mass of the sun and produces 1700 times less light. The star complete one orbit every 6.8 earth years. In fact due to its distance and dimness when Lok's Palace is in Didome's nighttime sky the whole sky is only about as bright as civil twilight (20 minutes after an earth sunset).
