My Dearest Fala,
As I sit to pen this letter, my heart weighs heavy with the burden of unspoken truths and forbidden desires. From the moment I first laid eyes upon you amidst the flour-dusted confines of your humble bakery, I knew that my destiny was forever entwined with yours. Each morning, I would steal away to your side, feigning interest in the confections that adorned your shelves, all the while consumed by the beauty of your presence.
Yet, alas, our love is but a fleeting dream, a whisper on the wind that dares not be spoken aloud. For you are of humble birth, a maiden of the common folk, while I am bound by the shackles of nobility, destined to walk the hallowed halls of Rosegarden, where such love is deemed forbidden. My family, steeped in tradition and duty, would never countenance such a union, and to pursue it would be to court ruin upon their name.
And so, with a heavy heart and tear-stained eyes, I must bid you farewell. Duty calls, and I am compelled to answer. Tomorrow, I depart for a distant outpost of the Farenian Army, where I shall serve my queen and country with honor and valor. It pains me to think that this may be our final correspondence, that the distance between us shall only grow with each passing day.
