We started our morning by trying to figure out where to go next. I told the group about my conversations with Icuras and how I didn't think it was Volsaid's group with the glyph of warding. We decided that we would go after the vault in front of us rather than chase after Volsaid. So we made our way into the trial. Upon entering we found more glyphs of warding. Really starting to get irritating, because these things are super dangerous. The first room had a large stone door with a pedestal in the middle. On the pedestal was a torch and upon grabbing it, a magical light began to emit from it. The stone door opened and on the other side was an elemental with it's minions. Turns out they were the ones creating the glyphs and causing all the chaos. After invoking their leaders name they got a bit angry with me. I don't know why or how our group decides what we should slay without words or try to persuade because it felt like the rest of the group was a bit hesitant with jumping in. I don't get how working with the creatures from the elemental chaos, the exact realm we are trying to stop from merging with our own would help us? After a bit of a short fuse by yours truly and decided talking wasn't going to work out, we fought. Crestin really worked them over and they were dispatched pretty quickly.
From there we saw the large chamber ahead and what appeared to be the next task. Carry the flame to the other side. To add a bit of complexity, turns out magic doesn't work in the chamber. To add even more complexity, Jean pulled a lever that made water start to flow where we were walking. Not entirely sure how we are going to make our way over there, but we will have to figure it out quickly.
