We told McDuffey about the artifacts and his thought was that we are acting as agents of the city and should be allowed to keep them. I could tell that Crestin didn't want to tell the baron, but we did agree that we wouldn't withhold any information from him. In the end, I would say it worked out for the better.
We took a need week off. I spent most of it in solitude with Vic, messaging back and forth with Siona, and getting to know our new bard companion better.
After that we traveled to the Rooth upper vault. We decided to take the Moorbounders which was nice because it really cut down the travel time. We made it in 5 and a half days.
Crestin dove right into the lake looking for out next trial. He found a fissure at the bottom of the lake and his air bubbles formed the three next symbols.

Crestin took one of the plants growing from the fissure with him as we traveled down. Eventually we found a cave that led us to a cavern. We fought what appeared to be air elementals that tossed us around good. I befriended a shark and named him Simon. From there, we moved forward deeper into the trial!
