Session 34: Valeun Upper Vault Part 3

We started with Jean being eaten by the purple worm. In the moment I panicked and my first thought was get the worm as far away from us as possible. So I banished it. Giving us a minute to try and figure out what the hell we are supposed to do in this tunnel. The group pushed forward and we discovered more holes. Out of them came smaller "baby" worms which the group quickly killed. Crestin moved ahead with Rahlak and relayed back that he thought the tunnel was actually just a circle. After some further investigation it turned out to be a spiral. More baby worms kept coming, but the team kept knocking them down. Doing some solid purple worm population control. I don't have any idea what the average size brood is for a purple worm, but I imagine we've put a solid dent in the population.
 
Eventually we made it to a large empty void. I don't exactly know why, but something in the void spoke to me. I needed to step into it. Little did I know that my spell was just ending and the giant worm was going to appear exactly where I was. So here I am, quickly using mage hand to write my notes down before I find my way out of this thing, or this journal is all that is left of me.
