Background

Kepharel is a well-kept, middle age human looking aasimar with long silver hair containing some blonde streaks. He has completely silver eyes and rather soft facial features. He is below average height and rather slender. He wears a long dark blue robe with some light blue sections. His clothes are very ornate almost as if he comes from a well-off family. On his belt is a wand with multiple radiant runes scribed upon it.
Kepharel has the odd ability to get along with everyone. The kind of person that arrives at a tavern alone and leaves with droves of new friends. It is common for strangers to confide in him more than they would others. Even when he doesn’t look for social interaction, people just seem to show up and feel compelled to talk about their day, or how the weather is. Some of this could be caused by his angelic heritage and people are just naturally curious, but conversations turn into more about people sharing with him than Kepharel talking about himself. When he speaks, he normally speaks softly and is very careful in his choice of words. He does he best to appear even keeled. Due to a prior incident caused by his anger, he actively attempts to placate himself during stressful, difficult times. His magic abilities become less controllable while angry and it is apparent to anyone who has travelled with him.
To the party and the people that have fought alongside Kepharel, he does not wield his magic like a normal sorcerer. For most spells he doesn’t speak a word or move his hands. He does hold onto his wand, but outside of necessity of having it, most of his power comes straight from his mind.
Kepharel may be traveling with the group but is in no way an adventurer. He grew up in the slums of the capital, so he knows how to survive in that environment, but hadn’t traveled outside of the capital until much later in life. Falling into quicksand, or somehow stumbling into a wolves’ den is not outside of normal for him and without his powers he would be dead. His abilities drive his usefulness within the group, and he realizes that. He knows that he has been blessed with these abilities, and it is his responsibility to perform good deeds with them.
