Session 43: An Interesting Offer

After taking an evening to celebrate, bandage our wounds, and plot our next steps we awoke to Norhm noticing that his body has began to mutate due to the mist. For whatever reason he still doesn't want to get the bite and remove this afflictions. Before we could really get into a debate about how to deal with Norhm's mutation we were approached by a monkey person named Ingi. Turns out Ingi leads the biomancers and had a proposition for us. Long story short, Ingi hates the vampires and wants them dead. In return, he would allow us access to his magic circles that are located all around the northern jungle. There was a ton of discussion on this. Norhm and Rahlak were very much for saying yes. Seems like they didn't need another reason to go after the three vampires. For me, I dislike the idea that we are going to go around replacing friends and allies when the next group comes by and gives us a shiny new tool. It seems to me that you will eventually run out of friends quickly. On the other side of this argument, our main goal is completing these tasks and doing so as the first group. So time is extremely important here. I asked the group if I could propose a counter to Ingi which everyone agreed to. My proposal was simple, give us a choice, let us try to remove the mist which depletes the vampires' power in this jungle and if that doesn't work we can go back to killing them. I think my call to giving us the ability to choose really spoke to Ingi and he agreed with us.
 
Sooooo now we have another thing to worry about. Gotta figure out how to either stop the mist or go and kill three very old vampires in their home turf. We have five years to figure out what we are going to do, but I realize we can't kick that can too far down the road.
 
We of coursed used the new cool tools in front of us and teleported to Hal'Kins'iit Lake. To anyone wondering, teleporting was exactly like my dream. It was invigorating! Honestly can't wait to do it again. The more perspective members of the group found a sink hole near the lake that led us towards our next trial. The sink hole gave way to a cave and inside were a group of drake looking enemies. After quickly dispatching them, we found new script.
