Session 100: Tectan Deep Vault Part 1

We started with finalizing the last minute needs before traveling to the deep vault. We used the gem Mannie set us as a focus for teleport in hopes it would bring us somewhere close to the deep vault. Lucky for us, it worked really well and put us right outside the entry way. Right after, we found a large egg. We had no idea what it was and most of us were cautious but Crestin blazed the trail and approached the egg right away. Long story short, it was Rahlak within the egg. Which was very fortunate for us. After a brief discussion of where we have been and where Rahlak has been, we oriented each other around the task at hand. Overcoming Mannie and this deep vault. We approached the floating masses of earth in front of us and found a nice pathway. On the way forward, I jumped into a crevasse and the god damn lythons tried to close it on me. I was quick enough this time to just narrowly escape it. Rahlak saw a child in front of us, and tried his best to sneak up on the kid. Turns out it was Mannie as a child and it knew where he was. Kid Mannie went through a stone wall and it was pretty clear it was about to be on. We decided to quickly follow and we were met with a warning sign. Basically we would have to face Mannie in three forms. New soil, middle aged soil, and old soil. Turns out new soil Mannie is a little dick, because he blasted us hard when we crossed the threshold. Norhm went down pretty quick and we are facing off with some tough looking lythons. So we gotta figure out how to handle this little piece of shit Mannie, while also dealing with all the monsters in front of us.
