Session 109: Next Stop Crimes Against the State

We all regrouped after a nice week off. Seems like everyone did something interesting over the week. We really needed to decide what to do next. We learned our story got a bit of attention from the king. McDuffey let us know that he is sending out the Arch-mage and High Priest to investigate what in the nine hells is going on between Fiddletown and the Northern Kingdom. McDuffey let us know that there was most likely going to be a takeover in Fiddletown and he would lose his Barony. It's to our advantage to move quickly. If we are somehow able to take over the Northern Kingdom we may be able to reduce the death toll on their people, because I think everyone is aware that Borgland will do anything to win that land and make them kneel. It was decided that we would try and target the Vampires so we could install McDuffey up north; hopefully by doing so we could stop any future advancement from the king. Norhm let us know about some magic artifact that would greatly assist our cause. Downside, McDuffey told us it is somewhere locked down my the kingdom. So now we have to go from a certain set of crimes to a whole new set of crimes. Really good stuff... not. We will see how things go as we go knocking on the kingdoms door, searching for something that could reduce bloodshed.
