Session 119: The Fall of Lord Crestin?, Long May He Reign?

We continued our fight with the vampires. Things got pretty messy pretty quickly. Spells getting thrown back and forth. More spells, counterpells, miss fires, all that fun advanced spellcaster stuff. While this was going on Rahlak and Valshava reappeared. Turns out they got pulled into something with the lich below us, Rose. Rahlak explained it briefly over the network and we continued fighting. Mentrious let off a nasty spell that killed Crestin outright. Lucky for us, Norhm was prepared and pulled him back quickly and our fight went on. More spells, more slashing, and pretty close to a miracle from Norhm with a very powerful spell being cast by Norhm that basically brought everyone back up to full HP. This led to more spells, more slashing and bashing. Seeing that we were going in a positive direction I let out our secret phrase with Zirt. We've been working behind the scenes on getting Zirt on our side. He traded some solid info and that led to further conversations and getting him over during this battle to assist finishing the vampires. Now we have to close this all out and vanquish these vampires for good.
