Session 82: Rooth Lower Vault Part 4

Started our fight with Blaise. We could see pretty easily what we were tasked with doing. Bringing the nutrients (oozes) to the end of the branch towards the leaf. Blaise was doing her best to stop us from moving forward. She grabbed a few of us, did her dragon breath thing, and even tried to fear all of us. The good news is that we were able to slowly move forward, but oh man did she do a lot of damage as we tried. Blaise kept talking about only the strongest survive and feels good to know that was us. Through some magic, elbow grease, and good portion of luck we dropped off our chemicals at the leaf. For some reason I thought the fight would be over. We completed our task, right? We were really fucking wrong. Blaise true polymorphed into a dragonborn with 6 blade like objects coming out her back. Although she was smaller, it didn't mean she did less damage. Crestin took a lot of swings at her and the rest of us did our magic to best her. In the end, Crestin cleaved her in two. With the trial completed, we acquired a magic seed named Rootspur and three gems which were worth about 60k. We rested outside the trial, and then traveled to our place in Fiddletown via teleport.
 
We have two lower trials left, and we have to travel north to accomplish them. Hopeful for what is next, but oh gods am I tired.
