You know I spend all this time thinking about us being above all the goings on in the Empire and it only takes a few weeks to get sucked back into it. I've reflected on how important it felt to be focused on the trials and how we need to stay on task. Once the group started really hearing about what Baron Maltrex is doing with the lumber camps up north we knew we had to act. So we chatted about next steps. We decided to head up to the grove to let the Tree Ents know what is going on. So we traveled. Made it up north in about half a week and talked with the members of the grove. The discussion went pretty well. The Tree Ents would call on other members to go take care of the loggers and we would head north to take care of the miners in return. So further north we went. Traveled for about three days when we met the Tree Ents going south. Real large group of them. Looks like they will be able to handle themselves, though I doubt the loggers aren't prepared for some kind of resistance. After a bit more travel we came upon the mining camp. Rahlak attempted to persuade the camp to leave, but that went rather poorly. Lucky for Jean, Rahlak was a great distraction and Jean was able to plant some explosives. Really started our next course of actions off with a boom. The only down side is this decided for us on the next action. Hopefully kill the group and close the mine. Hopefully the seeming holds up so we don't have to worry about being spotted and having someone report back to Fiddletown about our actions. I imagine this wouldn't go over smoothly.
