We had a quick breakfast at the guild and made our way over to Baron McDuffey's estate. We had a nice conversation with the Baron and talked about our adventures and the everscope. Seemed clearly excited about the scope and we will have to figure out how to get the Baron there. After that we started talking about the amber with plants we found. The baron removed the amber enclosure from one of them and norhm started messing with it. I asked him to try and put the oils on his barky skin. Turns out his skin was reverted to its prior self, but only for a few seconds. Next we tried to put some of the oil on a dagger and poke him near a vein. This also reverted some of his skin back for a few minutes, but it changed back to the mutated bark. We knew we may need a lot of these plants and we had to try to grow them. Baron tried a spell while I used the second script. It was invigorating to use the script and within moments I had the plants growing rapidly. Seconds later the canopy above opened up to provide additional light as the plants continued to prosper. Water, nutrients, and other needs were perfectly balanced as I began to cover this plot with these magical plants. I could hear the needs of each one of them whisper to me and it was effortless to provide them all they needed, while this was going on Baron Mcduffey began taking some of the plants for harvest and I quickly replaced them. Crestin also took some and made a tea out of them. The tea lasted even longer than the other two methods so it was clear that we needed to somehow raise the concentration of the oil. The Baron had an idea and told us to come back in a few hours. We went shopping for additional supplies for our next trial and then made it back to the Baron. What happened next was amazing, the newly refined potion cured Norhm of his affliction and currently he hasn't reverted back. Baron told us he would make a second batch for Siona and have it finished tomorrow, we went for a feast to celebrate, and then quickly made our way to bed to prepare for our trial tomorrow.
