The Storyteller begins the Story of Sartova, The God's Chronicle..
As Avenus takes the first life, the Oneirosi (a.k.a. Quori), one day into the beginning of the Sartova, experience their first societal-morph. From then on, they know to fight against it.
After building up his Evandyrian nations, Avernus forces them to fight and tear eachother apart to prove their worth, aiming to control the most powerful one.
These wars upon Evandyr last 210 years, where the Children of Avernus fight and tear eachother apart at the behest of their God-King.
Avernus creates sorts of societal strife. The Giants study and define Arcane Runic magic.
The victors of the Left-Handed Wars, the Hob, are burned and carved to new strength and organize an Empire.
Avernus is said to create disease, plague, and other sorts of enviromental strife. All this is to test the denizens of Evandyr and make them stronger. Suffering begets strength.
A comet falls upon the peninsula of Jeria from another world, creating what will later be known as the Valley of the Incarnate. For centuries, the only nature upon the world is that of the ferocious Jeria. It is said with this comet fell a certain beast...
The Avernal Empire take on the roots of Jeriec culture and form a stable dominion over nearly all of Evandyr.
Vaknevan the Wretched kills a Titan at a feast and early meeting between the two continents and people thereof. This betrayal sparks the Sartovan War.
Five hundred years of war is frought with villification and magic both cosmic and eldritch. The stories of each side of the other become larger than life... as Stories do.
When the Giants began to travel the Stories, captured the Elves from Medicopia and made them slaves. With this, the first flora and non-aquatic, non-avernal fauna spread across Sartova. Formerly, only sparse parts of Jeria knew nature.
Learning of the Giant's dimensional travel, Avernus creates deceptive thievery and the rest of strife, using it to implant spies among the elves.
Hundreds of such void-marked elves escape from the Titans, by the will of Avernus.
Doneicataru the Aegis is born of a Green Dragon who lived in captivity under a cruel Giant-overlord. He is used as an organic planewalking machine, the same as other enslaved dragonscribes.
The Void Elves, as they are named, become favorites of Avernus, and he often debates whether to wipe out the Hobgoblin Avernal Empire to replace them with his new champions. They have become staunch allies of Avernus, while the Hob and others do so out of fear, for they remember their creation stories.
The Giants, with the Titans lying long dead among broken thrones without meaning, break and reshape reality to kill the unkillable and entomb Avernus within itself.
The Golden Age of the Giants ends when those that hide within Avernus return to the surface with the Jeriec Empire spreading a new dominion to the skylit lands.
The Last Titan is slain by the Emperor of the First Jeriec Empire in a battle to last the ages.
Doneicataru the Aegis earns his title first, by flying back and forth before the catastrophes begin, freeing elves from slavery and bringing them to his Domain on Evandyr. He continues this alone for quite some time. He also allows those that repented from Avernus' ways of the First Jeriec Empire to find haven there.
The true cause of their disappearance remains a matter of debate and mystery, often tainted by biased opinions on the Sartovan War.
Approx. time when Reivantan structures were first built, the oldest Guardian temple near the Peak of Evandyr was dated around this time. There are some histories that describe nebulous signs across all skies, as well.
The Guardian Faith spreads through all of Reivanta, and those divine magics (especially create water) help them survive in the Wastes. The Seek Anhkaromatat leads a transformative movement codifying following the Prophet Mordecai's initial visions and tablets.
The Daelkyr begin to take more material to work with, and dispose of undesirable forms on Evandyr and Jhar'gorn. The Elves of Er'laria and the beings of the First Jeriec Empire ally and wage bloody wars with them.
The Reivantans and all the Duneswalker tribes rise up against the First Jeriec Empire, destroying their creations and their society, taking east Evandyr back from them. War begins for more than a hundred years.
The Empire is overthrown. The avernal races attempt to live underground, encountering the dwarves and things much worse... The Jeria Peninsula is ransacked, before it is left to the horrible beasts.
The Pyramid of Semun-Rah, a tomb for Reivanta's people and its' satillite Covenant Temples, is built far from the city in what will later become known as the Hunter's Circle.
Though the word of their sin is <REDACTED>, the Kharnethi take secrets from the First Jeriec and the Kyr, yet later turn to fleshcrafting and find something no other has found in any world... Necromancy.
This great upset in the energies of the Runic Script, as well as the quori's meddling, throw all the Themes in the Story in complete chaos. Convergence and Divergence days are anyone's guess, and it is even said that one day, Z was coterminous five times in one year, the Torfield divegent for a month straight, and Deia-rei equally distant for years.
Jhar'gorn is believed entirely destroyed. Of the two factions that fought in Er'laria, the side of arcane advancement and spiritual convocation has their provinces entirely destroyed. The survivors sail fatally across the Sea of Zaxor, the Face of Insanity, and tens of thousands perish in the eternal hurricanes there.
The Er'larian refugees make final landing upon the Isles of Erinion, after having made failed attempts at the Isles of Kentarun. Here, they name the first the Isle d'Lacrimos, making shrines to their dead, and found their idyllic city of Erinion upon the Isle of Anima Vita.
Seeing the ineptitude of the Story at hand, the dragons--servants and tools of the Storyteller--begin to war. Divides form between dragons of differing worlds, as they battle over usurping or maintaining their passive position.
The Sanctum experiment with the Avernal rituals of creating flesh and life, now Doneicataru is dead. The Kobolds and the Yuan-Ti and the Lizardfolk are made, and following much infighting, the process is forbidden and the creators of the three are banished.
Qerlathe the Silver Dragon discovers the Sanctum's ritual and uses it to make more and more Kobolds. These kobolds begin worshipping and following Qerlathe. She deems it a mistake and leaves for a few years, only to return with a heavy heart, deciding to lead them instead of abandoning them.
Early Erinion finds itself fractured between inter-isle dissent. Debate and discussion falls into disarray, and instead of peaceful understanding, early Erinion descended into war and destruction. Seven years pass before the disparate factions across the Isles and Linvik form alliances and defeat Dominus Carlamaine, the war-mongering faction that desired instead to conquer and reclaim the Er'larian heights through force and conquering land and any means.
Vyrasslya, the False Prophet, is driven away and believed dead, and the Dragonscribes are fractured again. The true Dragonscribes which do nothing remain upon the Peak of Evandyr until the Breaching, where they spread to the Teeth of the Wyrm and the Crags of Kolryut. The Sha'tharra took no part in the war. The descendants of Vyrasslya (and vyr herself) are known as the Scions of Prophecy, or the Scions.
Reivanta, a mere oligarchic shadow of its former unity, is destroyed utterly by the Duneswalker tribes that they have long subjugated and filled with political and religious dissidents.
The Fiendwyrms erupt from the earth, scattering and destroying the remnants of the Reivantans and those that destroyed them, causing all of Old Reivanta to be uninhabitable. Old Reivanta itself is surrounded by destruction, but itself is preserved by a guard of three eternal beasts.
Erinion fights the Scions, and unknowingly Vyrasslya as well, which amount to renegade dragons around the Bay of Evandyr.
Noted as a historic event in the age of Erinion, where Erinion transitioned from the period of destruction, regrowth, settling, peace, prosperity, into a new golden age.
The Jerian races return from their ill-fated attempt at colonizing the underworld, and join Erinion, their old allies. There is some mixing of occult tradition into Erinion from the old avernal traditions, but just tools and knowledge, not the corruption of Avernus.
Caesia Thiir and Erinion make contact and devolve into wars for a hundred years, primarily through proxies and incredibly powerful wielders of magic playing chess, not armies marching.
The Quori, in a new generation, are more intellectual and millitaristic, reflecting the world. They guide and rapture disciples of wisdom, wisemen, prophets, and social leaders to bring themselves and their followers north... to found a new city of Qu'ara.
They discover the force behind small groups of humans suddenly rapturing north to the Isles of Kentarun. They send Marrulurk and other purposely made pinnacle forms of spying and force, and gained knowledge of how they created religion and divine magicks through the belief-story-reality concept, giving humanity the psionic power. They keep this knoweldge quiet, but immediately shield their minds with chaotic Daelkyr energies to ward off the Quori's counterspying. They lie in wait for centuries... for an opportunity to steal this power for themselves. Even the Monolith is not enough for their goals.
Founding of the Erini colony of Alcorin, following the end of the Invocation Wars and the alliance between Erinion and Caesia Thiir. This colony primarily forges Obsidian Galena from the Rift of the Uncrowned, but later becomes a far-flung resort-isle.
a.k.a. The Invasions.
All over Sartova, dimensions find purchase within eachother both physically, and areas between become cosmically unsafe. Things physical might become thoughts and disappear just as quickly. Dreams become reality in other worlds. Impure things and failures and falsehoods shift and warp into minds and holy wars of angelic wars and mortal home alike.
The world finds Disaster, as all worlds overlap.
Qu'ara and the System of Esoteric Enlightenment, with the created and learned Planar Containment Subminds, weaken the barriers to the other planes and call them all into convergence. This begins the Age of Malevolent Motifs.
Through occult tradition and pacts brokered with cosmic powers, the Elysian Dynasty is not only the sole society not to crumble under the Age of Malevolent Motifs, it instead flourishes, and is founded directly into a golden age of many centuries.
With the Monolith of Nekrosis and the Seal of Erinion, the Kharnethi Marru destroy Forgotten Kingdom after Forgotten Kingdom and bind the land to their oversoul. There, they begin to separate the very land from the world and take command of time with a new Death that they control. The Tythis Expanse, the Hunter's Circle, Abalos, Khufu's Cairn all fall to them, with the Kingdoms within. Kingdom of the Al-Mosaks is destroyed near the end, close to the flood.
As the Kharnethi use the Planar Containment Submind they took from Qu'ara to write the world-story as they will, they do not account for the balance, and all these 'intersecting vector-form rune-energy transpositional mishaps' eventually are too much for the world to bear.
Attempting to usurp the spirits of the land and directly control the bones of the earth. Even the Oubliette may not save them, and they are destroyed by their own sins.
The world in the east is flooded from the Teeth of the Wyvern to the Rift of the Uncrowned, destroying the Kharnethi and their sins, assuaging the wounds they rended into the world.
After restoring Qu'ara following a destructive invasion from Avernus, as well as creating the second Planar Containment Submind, the Oneirosi enter Sartova by making real the nightmares of man. They desire to control everything, and take control of the Peak of Evandyr again. This is where their rituals of control begin and they start to appease Mazekstand and end the flood.
Here, the Erini perfect their mindhunters, making the map of minds the tool of the oneironaut.
Erini Farshifters pool their wills to send an extremely large strikeforce to takes one Planar Containment Submind from the Peak for study, destroying the non-Sartovan presence there.
Quori attempt to attack Dothania in a desperate move to steal the PCS there, as they cannot easily create a new one. In response, High Magistrate <REDACTED> brings his own allies to another dimension and returns it to the Bone Keepers.
Those with wills strong enough, such as Magistrates and oneironauts, to repel but not cure themselves of the Mind-plague erect a powerful barrier around Erinion, holding it as they attempt to save what is left of their once-great people. They also do this around all of their settlements through the Bay, giving them the name and notion of protectors.
To seal the Mind-Plague, and cause all to forget... because they must, the High Magistrate willingly invokes that which will destroy them. They call down the devilish evil that wished to destroy them for millennia, and through deals, the destroy must also act as guardian... and guard the ruins from any intruders that might spread the mind-plague. In this, the world is saved from utter destruction.

The Houses are now Runic Houses, and simply possessing the correct Runes allows you to join their noble ranks, and gain their power through blood transfusion, created by Doctor Jonathan Walker several years prior.
The Incarnate King, despite his destruction, lives on like an earworm in the nightmares of the God-King. He rises anew, a demon lord in control of the Heart of Avernus to print new terrors on demand from the god-machine below. He destroys the Watchman's Post by turning every Jerian into a bomb and exploding their hearts with viscera shrapnel, and following by destroying the beloved Jade Pillar. His eternal march moves north, across the Sunsglade and Western Steppes, his voice echoing across the entire world. Declaring the Sartovan War having begun again, the fate of the entire Story of Sartova to be decided this day. In subservience to the Storyteller, or a Story in the hands of the actors therein. The government of Golryon is convicted of war crimes and a majority of those within it removed. Beginning drafts of the Arcane Congress form, as a parent of the Arcane Conservatory, which itself is purged. It is an organization that is made to resolve disputes between the Runic Houses, the states across the Bay and Jeria, and perhaps beyond. It does, however, struggle to even come together and be ratified by all member states, and it is a number of years before it has any true presence in the Bay... besides being a reason for peace.
