The Incarnate King is killed within Avernus, dying in a heroic charge from Kora'zuul, the First Seeker.
Azzaroth, the leading and surviving commander of the Incarnate King, remains in the Pillar of Rime for two more years until he is slain. Those that do so struggle through much corruption and tests of will to defeat him and survive, and take these lessons to heart, taking the name of Kora'zuul and founding the Seekers. She is named post-humously as the first Lord Seeker, and many take her clan's name with honor. This clans purpose is to be watchful of the Demon's growth, and fight against their expansion.
