Lofus Stormborn
Lofus was the Duke of Golryon, and current leader of the House of Stormborn, the House with the greatest control and aptitude for the Runic magics from mundane to powerful form in the Bay. He was born in 662 AB, and is rather old for a dwarf, having lived an eventful life.

in 699 AB, he was captaining a vessel sailing through the Bay, when it encountered Darkwater. The Darkwater Chest, later changed the world. It was with the magic inside that chest that he proved capable of leading the House of Stormborn, and used it with Fergio and the mercenaries known as the Wardens, to overthrow the current rulers of Golryon and claim it as his own. It became a Theocratic Magocracy, and he became the most powerful person in the Bay, in one single year.
There is not a strategist more cunning than he.
There was always dissent through his rule of Golryon, and Dinlirys by proxy. He had taken control of the City-States through magical, military, and monetary force alone, having no right to do so except that which he made for himself. That being said, the city prospered under it's first Stormborn Duke, as Lofus ushered in the Age of Light single-handedly, growing from a beautiful town with a deep history into a world power. A power that may even threaten the great [Second Jeriec Empire. Lofus Stormborn died, after just short of two centuries of life, during the Doppleganger Crisis of 860 AB, simply due to stress and old age. His nephew Lotharn Dekka, followed him, but was soon revealed to be a doppleganger, and the rule of Dukes collapsed in Golryon, after five-hundred years of succession.
