Vaknevan the Wretched kills a Titan at a feast and early meeting between the two continents and people thereof. This betrayal sparks the Sartovan War.

Meeting with Jharia of Jhar'gorn at the first contact between the two continents, Avernus brings a legion of his finest assorted champions, combatants so strong that they can fell dragons.   This however, is known as the moment in the Story when the Conflict begins.   One great hero of the Hob, Vaknevan The Wretched, killed the first Titan of the Sartovan War due to an escalating fight over ownership of a powerful Mithral Greatsword, and brought it's head to Avernus after the great feast between the two peoples. Avernus had a mixture of fury and pride, for his creation had done exactly what he had instructed him to... disobeyed and tested oneself. The realization dawned upon them both when they realized they had killed the companion of Jharia, and was sure to invite the wrath of Jhar'gorn down upon them. Instead of smiting Vaknevan, Avernus took his people home, and steeled themselves for war.
