Watchman's Post

The Reclaimant Campaigns were the last of a series of offenses that reclaimed and settles Jeria for the Empire, finally returning the Sunsglade to imperial rule. The tower-fortress built at the site of the first landing of the armies by sea became the center of efforts to reclaim the land, and when the Campaigns were complete, it had become a hub of trade and resources. Though originally a military base, the Post became a growing city.
The Watchman's Post is built on two natural hills divided by the river that runs from the Tears of the Moon. On the southwestern tip of the Empire, it acts as the frontier watchtower defending the Empire from the Golryon Wastes and other threats from outside.

After the Campaigns ended, the fortress at the center of the Post was repurposed into the center of the Seekers. These fanatical demon-slayers would stop at nothing to root out the corruption of Avernus' teachings, and being ever vigilant to their spread. This vigilance was learned through the harsh lesson of the Avernal Campaigns, which were for the most part a defensive war of attrition against armies of demons coming from below, led by the demon Balcoth, the Incarnate King.

575 AB, during the Reclaimant Campaigns, as a fortress for the armies of Jeria. The central tower-fortress was converted in 581 AB after the end of these Campaigns to the center of the Zuul clan's efforts to lead the inquisition of Demonic forces.

80,000, of which 77,800 are citizens and 2,200 are not.
