Teeth of the Wyvern

"There is nothing here for you, Hob. We are not your enemy, yet these are the teeth of the Sanctum, and the end of your conquest."

--Gryndrirathain of the Tower, when the Empire expanded their borders towards the Teeth during the Savage Campaigns, in 440 AB.

The second largest mountain range in Evandyr exists as the southern border of the Second Jeriec Empire. Though the Empire claims it as their own, they have no settlements besides military forts among the mountains. Jagged peaks become dusted with snow in the highest reaches, but turn to gushing rivers the further south one goes. These mountains are the reason why Jeria is the climate it is, all moisture from the sea is trapped in Jeria, creating overgrown forests, marshlands, glades, and feeding all manner of beasts.   It is said that the Teeth were the home of the ancient dragons that served Simon in ages past, shown by the proliferation of dragon graveyards, thematic material, and extra-dimensional beings living solitary lives in the valleys and peaks. Even still, millennia after the dragons received no more guidance from the Storyteller, there are still sects of dragons that further his will upon the world, and a few dragonic prophets claim to hear the whispers of the Planar Danse, still.

There are yet forces at work from beyond this world. Did you really assume that the planar war had ended? It continues in the shadows, child, do not look too long or you might slip between and join the fray.

Annexed by the Second Jeriec Empire during the Savage Campaigns of 360-451 AB.
