Mochi's WAWA 2024 Top Picks!
For this year's Worldbuilding Awards I want to spread the love by showcasing my favourite entries from each category. A bit of a risky move, sharing other entries while I am also in the running, but who cares! Sharing the love is more important to me. Here's all of the work that really caught my eye when judging. And also, I actually voted for one of these entries in each category.
The position of these article blocks does not indicate which I voted for, it's just awkward trying to make all five article blocks a similar size.
Hearts & Minds
My own entry to Hearts & Minds, Monster Hunting, is a tale of man vs beast. Only beast is also man. It is my most successful article as of writing this and I am extremely proud of it. Here's what else I really enjoyed from this category!
Rise of Nations
For this category I submitted Sakara, the largest city on planet Osao. I'm very proud of that article, but there's so many other amazing articles in this category!
Wondrous Nature
I'm super proud of my entry, the Ecology of the Nakkan Swamp. It was a two-day long project where I created the most in-depth ecosystem I had ever made.

Bloody HELL, you lot. This was not easy. I spent an entire day just reading through all the entries. Luckily I had already read many of the entries which did make judging that little bit easier time-wise, as I didn't need to fully read them through. But still, this was so difficult.
I'm so glad to be surrounded by such creative people, it makes me want to work harder on my own work to bring it up to the level of these people I've showcased above.
Thanks for including me!
