    Also referred to as Abyssmal gods, an Abysmal is a deity that turned on life and their fellow deities, in an attempt to 'wipe the slate clean' and avenge their brother/father/creator after The Rupture. They now harbour a vendetta against mortals for tearing them all apart.

  • The Animalian King noun

Would later become human to aid his creations in love and sacrifice in what would be known as The Great Passing.

    A being, a concept, a what have you that embodies everything that it is, it is what it is. "A core concept" such as the sun or love. Big, powerful and spawning so many other fractures of ideas and creations.

    The war between life and restart after the death of a planet due to the greed of mortals causing The Rupture. Deities and powerful forces waged war on the planet's remains until the side of life eventually won, and labelled those that had betrayed the way of life Abysmals.

    A simple coded 'language' of marks and gestures used by the underbelly criminals and sneaks.

  • Dermoptera noun
    A Class of the Animalians that includes the following families: Rats, shrew, moles, squirrels, bats, monkeys & lemurs. Known for their maneuverability and smaller size.
  • Dhargen noun
    1. A defense mechanic by the Planet Cores, they form the white blood cells on the planet in that they're made for the life underground and defend it fiercely, which is why they have a gruffer grating sociability towards the other races but any sociability at all compared to their less intelligent Giant cousins who protect the surface.

  • The Divine Thread noun
    Similar to the Animalian Thread, this thread is woven into Descendants, beings of who have the sole essence of a deity within them granting them unique features. There can only be one Divine Thread per deity and it can only be woven completely into one mortal at a time.

    The plane of change, where everything momentarily exists when changing. For example where water goes right as if freezes. Remaining on this plane for long periods of time is difficult but allow for one to move around Nucliosa like a spirit as the two overlap.

    The Thread within all mortals and most living creatures, almost nervous system = Energy Thread. One could also look at the Energy Thread as one's life force.

    A Class of the Animalians that includes the following families: horses, zebras, donkeys, giraffes and camels. Known for their stamina.

  • Family noun
    A Family consists of Animalians of the same (or at least very similar) animal Patron. Animalians in the same Family - not family - are not necessarily related - in fact, it is safer to assume they are not. One's Family will determine what Class they fall into. Two Animalians from two different Families can produce an Animalian of an entirely different Family or even Class altogether.

    Also known as The Red String of Fate, it is supposedly tied to mortals' fate, especially when it comes to love. However cannot be seen and is even harder to understand.

    The Core of Fungus. Father of all fungus and spores. The second oldest of the Life Course siblings and the only one to not create a Mind.
  • Gest noun
    A language 'spoken' through body hand gestures most commonly used by the deaf, hard of hearing or mute.

    The tallest of civilised races descended from Giants.
  • Giants noun
    The huge race developed for the terrains of the planet's surface to defend the natural territories.
  • The gods noun
    Divine beings formed from the direct or indirect creation or action of a Mind. These deities cannot create entire new concepts on their own in the way Cores once did, rather they simply rule, protect and embody their domains as much as possible.

    The realm of the dead, where souls go after they die. How they experience the realm depends on the beliefs and the type of person the soul was. Since The Core War, Golgia has a second layer: Peroxis, a torturous tyrannic reflection for evil or bough souls.

    The god of death. Many fear death and therefore demonise him, however he is not responsible for when death is to arrivew, he merely protects the souls after they've passed and the plane they reside: Golgia.

    A Class of the Animalians that includes the following families: rabbits, bilbie and kangaroos. Known for their leaping ability.

Born from Helemvar and Sephina (Death x Spring) he fell in love with a human mortal and remained dedicated to her until she was granted godhood and the two became rebirth and birthed love anew as well as loyalty, communication and pain.

  • Mnemosyne noun
    The goddess of memory, she sprung forth from the cracked skull of Knowledge (Erena). She is more commonly known simply as Lady Memory. In modern day she is less known for knowledge storage and more about the grieving process and preserving and honouring memories of those who have passed.

    The goddess of trickery. She appears most often as a 10 tailed fox.
  • Native Ability noun
    An ability or feature that 'comes naturally' usually by birth. Coined by Animalians as specifically an ability or feature that an Animalian can tilt forward that is connected to their Patron animal. For example: A member of a bear Family may have the native ability to tilt claws or immense strength.
  • Nature Magic noun
    Magic related to plants, animals and shifting forms like that of a rapidly evolving bacteria. Created and gifted to mortals by Plantae and Protista. Once it was gifted, it's up to individuals to learn, they lost control of who and how it was used once made.

The freedom was nice, as back then what else were they supposed to be but together. Now there is so much more. Still, she punches back occasionally, hence the storms and natural disasters.

    The Core of plants. As well as the mother of all plants. The second youngest sibling of the Life Cores. Would later dissolve to pass on her domain to Demetora and unknowingly and unintentionally created the Magic Thread with her brother Protista.

    The goddess of prophecy.
  • The Protista King noun
    The Core of bacteria. As well as the father of all bacteria. The oldest sibling of the Life Cores and the generally overlooked one, but that's because he always passed off his creations to Animalia to play with like building blocks. Would later dissolve to pass on his domain to other gods and unknowingly and unintentionally created the Magic Thread with his sister Plantae.
  • Qedoza noun
    Humans pact bound to spirits of Ribosia or Cytosia. Two Qedoza will give birth to a Qedoza but any human, in theory can become one.
  • Ribosia noun
    The plane of dreams, where minds go as they sleep. Ribosia is split into two parts and hovers just over Nucliosa like a cloud. These parts are known more commonly in modern day by its two halves: Darklock and Mindwell (nightmares and dreams)

    1. The language of the Ribosia.
    2. adjective: Something of Ribosia origin or 'alike' to a Ribosia. Synonymous with: strange, unexplainable.

    A polar line (like the equator) along the top of Pennbor, right along the middle of the Bright Ring. The hottest and brightest point that never experiences night. The opposite to the Frost line.

    A place where two planes have met and split into each other, creating leakage between the two. Most known for the Vacosia Seams.

    The god of sleep. The fracture of Ribosia ensured he could not rule the plane, instead he is a shepard for those travelling between sleep and wakefulness.

    The enormous Cores that float within space, known commonly as planets, suns, stars, moons etc.

    Also known as The Dark Elves. Created by Darkness, thus they are directly opposed to Lethvens as created by Light.

    The god of Summer, he was born of Zalos and Mother Season.

  • Swivets noun
    Humanoids of half the height of humans, they can be quite stout but all are very nimble with their fingers, especially with a 2nd thumb. They were created by the craft god Vestus due to his awkward social skills. Thus they are known for their sociability and ability to craft.

    Also known as the season elves, these elves were made as the Mind of the Sky Core Zalos.

  • Tando noun
    A Class of the Animalians that includes the following families: Rhinos, hippos, elephants and moose. Known for their density and strength.

  • Tilt verb
    Referring to an Animalian's ability to manifest features of animals (usually of their Patron animal). The more one tilts the more abilities and features they can manifest. Named as such for the visualisation of the ability being described as ‘walking the line between human and animal’ so when you tilt, you are symbolically leaning to fall one way or the other.
  • Todontia noun
    A Class of the Animalians that includes the following families: bears, pandas, wombats and koalas. Known for their protectiveness and powerful claws.

    1. A runtish erratic monstrous race, smaller and more interested raiding than the warring and large Omok.

    A small plane that consists of a state of matter: Plasma as Fire, Gases and Air, Liquids as Water and Solids as Earth.
  • Vennes noun

  • Vens noun
    Very similar to elves in physiology, however are different in that they do not embody a cycle. The two vens are known as the Stygvens and Lethvens, or the dark and light vens respectively. They are often referred to as dark or light elves. Elves take offence to being called vens or being mistaken for one. Another way to look at it is, all vens are elves but not all elves are vens.

    Markings, usually invisible in daylight, that can be seen by those with violet vision, in which case they glow like phosphors in neon colours. Lethvens are most well known for having violet marks.

    A predatory race that can and will hunt other races for food. However very intelligent and Rogues may join society as non-threats.
