Aelleno (ay-len-oh)
The Great Balm
MYTHOLOGY
Aelleno was born a twin to his sister Alinis to their parents Helemvor and Soephina , second to their older brother Lapin. It is said he was born to death and spring because healing comes in the symbolism in flowers placed at a grave.
PAST WORSHIP
There was a time, in fearing his father death, that Aelleno's worshipers would harm themselves on purpose to then have a pointed reason to pray for his influence in healing them. As if to give him purpose, to grant themselves favour in needing him, to then ultimately keep themselves in favour of healing and life and away from the eyes of Death.
PRESENT WORSHIP
Now days it is understood that favoured worshipers of just about any god will grant baseline healing ability, as some sort of signature trait of divine magic. As such Aelleno's worship has greatly diminished since The Great Divide.
