Lapin (lap-en)
Rabbit of Luck
MYTHOLOGY
Lapin was born to Helemvor and Soephina. Back when less deities were present he was also the carrier of loyalty, so when he fell in love with a mortal, that was it for him. His love was granted godhood as she became Montilena when they married. In doing so they became the dual carriers of rebirth and fertility. They would then go on to birth the twins, Ludus of love and Heimol of loyalty, then Isimis of communication and Lovitar of pain.
PAST WORSHIP
The nature of luck came with superstition so early on he was fairly active on the mortal plane before The Great Divide. When one say a black rabbit it was believed to be him, granting you bad luck, and then white for good. It's also how he came to fall in love with a human. All this made him out as an approachable god, but difficult to chase for his lightning speed. One would be a fool to truly chase after luck, after all.
PRESENT WORSHIP
As a well liked god, one that would bring good tidings and at worst only ruin your day with rain, and within the domain of space in how he moves faster that the eye could track, this got him a spot as one of the Seven Stars in The Constellation.
He and Montilena also have a shared holiday of renewing life where eggs are the center of the food and treats exchanged and eaten.
