MYTHOLOGY
It's practically unheard of for a mortal to achieve godhood, in fact even in the case of Montilena her ascent only remains known now in ballad capacity due to the theatrics bards have able to flair out.
And yet this mortal had not created writing but had been the first to organise it and make it streamline to learn and teach across the land and founded the first public library. She also wrote the first fictional story of great length (beyond the tales told over the bar or the ballads of bards) and thus created a whole genre for the creative minds to explore. In fact many will infer about which 'tier' the book falls into when referring to it's qualities.
Such great feats were vital in solidifying the tales of the deities, texts to be spread around and thus officialising the deities who could often times become scattered in the mind with the various stories believed of them. And so, for her efforts and her skill, Tier was gifted divinity.
It's even rumoured that some of her own writings of fictional tales unintentionally sparked the creation of the very beings and even deities that she wrote about, for her words carried the reader so well into the world she wrote, it was worth believing in - even if only for the fun.
PAST WORSHIP
Not much could be said about her past worship, her tale was still being written and many were unsure of what she stood for and what she was. She came fairly late to the game and was not born from another deity as most others so she had to build up to proper worship before she became Known.
PRESENT WORSHIP
Tier was and is well beloved for her tale and what she has done. Although she also has many that reject her as a deity for the same reasons. Some believe she was just a very powerful magic user that manipulated reality until she became a bastardised version of a deity, that there is no real reason to praise the fictional.
