Utea, the land of the Five Realms

Utea is a continent located in the north-eastern region of Evera and is also the largest contiguous land mass on it. Its territory can be divided into five parts according to the borders of the current countries: the jungle of Zililon, the realm of Vasanna, the valley of Nehalenor, the land of Mogeth and the plains of Ganu. The continent itself lies in the Blackwater ocean.

Flóra & Fauna

Thanks to its fortunate climate and varied topography, a wide range of plants live in the area, and the same is true for the animal world. In addition to non-magical wildlife, magical creatures also have plenty of habitat.

Történelem

Before the First Age

Narmiraen, Goddess of All Life and Jomril, Father of the Stone worked on Utea at the beginning of time. Back to then, Evera was populated by dragons. Narmiraen chose the surface, created endless forests and plants, filled the central part of the continent - the area of today's Nehalenor, Vasanna and Mogeth - with her creatures. On the two opposite sides of the continent, very extreme conditions prevailed at that time, the western coast was terribly hot, full of poisonous gases, volcanoes and ash mountains, while the eastern coast was filled with icy slush, snow and murderous cold.
Jomril shaped the subterranean realm to his will. He created minerals, ores, all kinds of wonderful substances. He found pleasure in creating and was proud of his immortal work. At Narmiraen's request, he tamed the craters of the western coast, in exchange for which he was able to raise the huge plateau of today's Mogeth to prepare a place for his people, who he already dreamed of. After the plateau was created, the cold northerly winds changed direction, and the ice retreated on the eastern coast, revealing a slightly larger area than the two deities had expected. The goddess first created fairies to help her care for and protect the forest. The fairies, though diligently following his orders, lacked the magic power and many abilities for the massive task. Therefore, with long planning and careful work, he created the first elf: Fliadalis. The druid gained many companions, including Ariaven, the first priestess of Narmiraen, Eidhil, the first chanter and Alabyran, the first mage.
According to Narmiron lore, Fliadais received twelve companions from Narmiraen, from whom the twelve tribes of Nehalenor are descended.
As Narmiraen successfully created her people, the elves, Jomril himself brought the giants and dwarves to life. The two deities were surprised that a third, Jurkirud created creatures on the continent himself, without consulting the previous ones, he released many monster-like creatures (Bugits) on Evera, causing quite a stir causing the awakening peoples.

First Era

New species have proliferated in Utea. After becoming the god, Alabyran and his wife brought the jungle of Zililon to life on the western coast. Never-seen magical plants and creatures appeared in the area. The environment under the influence of strong magic changed the appearance of the elves living here in a few generations, i.e. they developed a look typical of Mystic elves. Meanwhile, the leaders of Nehalenor, the priestesses of Narmiraen, found their country and community in the north. Although most of the cities of dwarves and giants were built on the plateau of Mogeth, the westernmost settlement was established on the border of Zililon and Nehalenor.

Second Era

Vangrakath led the Segai Beastman to the land of Utea. Their wild tribes settled on the eastern coast beyond the desert. They established their own empire, Ganu and soon overran the verdant lands of the continent. The leaders of Nehalenor's people, the priestesses of Narmiraen, decided to protect themselves from outsiders by closing their borders for the "will of the goddess" and for the protection of their people. Despite this, a small army of hunters left the country, led by Tyssa L'imenel. Alabyran challenged Vangrakath to a duel at the beginning of the Beastman campaign, but he did not dare to stand against him. Alabyran's next step was to find allies. He agreed with Jomril and a god, working mainly on a distant continent, Solioran to reclaim Utea from the beasts. The three gods began to prepare their people for war, but they had to wait until Solioran's people, the Humans, arrived on the continent.

Third Era

With the skill of Jomril and the perseverance of the humans, the people of Solioran built ships at the end of the Second Era and crossed the waters of Evera to help fight against the Beastman. The journey and the war were long, and the people's lives were short, and in a few generations they forgot their former home, Lifeon. The people landed in the southern part of the continent, where they established their first stronghold, in what is now Highgarden. The Army of the United Nations, the Humans-Mystic elves-Dwarven army, slowly but surely pushed the beast hordes back into the Ganu desert. One of the most prominent figures of the campaign was General Irdan ShuThur, who finalized the border between Mogeth and Ganu. The general defeated the chief leader of the Beastman, Borkul Nash, in a duel and forced the rest of the wild army to their knees. In the depopulated, war-ravaged areas, Humans founded settlements and were the first to start farming on the continent. Kingdom of Vasanna was formed.

Fourth Era - Present days

The countries of Utea live side by side in relative harmony. All countries have problems, but they are trying to fix them.
