Jungle of Zililon
A lush jungle with plenty rivers and lakes. Snow is only known from hearsay, to be found on some high mountain peaks.
Zililon is much warmer than the central areas of Utea because of the volcanoes hidden deep in the earth. When the sun is shining, it is hot, when it rains, the weather is even more muggy. The unusual climate may make travelers feel a little lethargic or numb, but this is actually due to the strong magical energies vibrating in the air. While others may be overwhelmed by unseen forces, magic users are far more energetic than usual.
To the north-eastern region, in the border of Nehalenor, the huge Drauz Mountains form a natural dividing line between the jungle and the valley. The eastern border region is characterized by groves and marshes.
The huge forest of Zililon is colorful, noisy, full of animals and birds. The numerous water sources nourish the environment well. There are mushrooms that are as tall as the huge trees, which are a source of food for both the animals and elves living here.Földrajz
It is bordered on three sides by the Blackwater, and on the east by the valley of Nehalenor and the realm of Vasanna.
The southern regions are generally made up of smaller hills and plains intersected by rivers and streams, while further north, travelers have to contend with steep foothills and high hills. The larger rivers are wide and slow flowing, but the smaller rivers are known for their wild and whimsical waters. During the rainy season, especially in the winter months, floods are common in the river valleys. In summer, however, entire riverbeds dry out under the rising thick mist.
Localized Phenomena
Before the First Age, the deities Narmiraen and Jomril worked in the area for a long time to make this inhospitable area, favorable to only a few of the dragons, habitable. The huge amount of divine energy transformed into powerful magical radiation, changing the plants, animals, and elves living here.
Climate
Zililon's jungle is typically a moisture region, with a lot of rain in autumn and winter, slightly less in spring, while summers are usually dry, with huge storms - which often just mean lightning.
Since the region of Zililon was once full of huge craters (like the Disir vulcano), deep in the earth there are still a lot of magma flows and hot water springs that occasionally burst to the surface. Wherever they are located, they naturally heat the entire area.

Zililon's three most important exports are its high-quality timber for construction and shipbuilding, construction stones and gemstones from volcanic rocks, and magical crystals (see Soliron's vessel).
The people who live here - mainly Mystic elves - take care of and protect the integrity of the jungle. Logging is always offset by planting. Examples of large-scale farming - the cultivation of cereal crops - can only be seen in naturally formed clearings and more barren riverside or ocean-side areas. There are small vegetable gardens and planted orchards in the inhabited areas. Animal husbandry is more widespread, mainly striped-back, domesticated wild pigs, fowls and pack animals are kept - e.g. smaller elephants, four-honrns.
