Bearrest

This vast mountainside and hilly oak forest lies on the southeastern border of Nehalenor.

It is kept green by the streams of the Arbane Mountains that flow into the Swiftwater River or the crystal-clear mountain lakes. This forest is home to many wild boars, providing food for the brown bears living in the hillside caves. The waters are rich in fish and the branches of the bushes crumble under the weight of the berries from spring to early winter.

This forest looks different in every season, and each has its unique beauty. Spring brings green leaves, flowers, summer acorns, fruits, and berries, autumn paints all the trees in red, and then in winter, the forest goes to sleep under the snow.

The Silhen tribe inhabits this area and the hunters often hibernate with their bear companions in the caves. After the Third Era, the eastern border became a peaceful place, without the fear of the Segai hordes, life has become slow and comfortable for those who live here.
