Wonderful World of Evera
Evera is a mystical world over 30,000 years old. It was originally conceived as the final resting place of the mighty Dragon Goddess's beloved companion. The plains and waters of Evera were once filled with countless kinds of Dragons, but not long after, new deities arrived to shape the world and populate it with other forms of life.
The goddess Narmiraen created forests and all manner of plant life, while Jomril, Father of Stone, fashioned wondrous things beneath the surface of the world. Together, they created Elves, Giants, and Dwarves to protect and make use of these lands. Working farther away from them Solioran brought forth Humans and other forms of life—animals among them. Unlike the others, these creations had no greater purpose: the God of Life sought only to create life itself.
Vangrakath called forth bloodthirsty, bestial humanoids, the Segaii, to carry out his will, while Taana, Goddes of Waters, awakened the Undines and the Glonoii, who dwell in the seas and the Blackwater Ocean.
The creator gods—and their followers—did not love one another as the Dragon Goddess loved all living beings. At the end of Evera’s Second Age, a total war erupted among most of the deities. The Dragon Goddess did not intervene, for she deemed them all equal. In time, the gods and their armies gathered and fought a legendary final battle, known as the Battle of the East. Even gods fell on that day, and a few years later, a fragile peace was forged between the warring factions.
At last, the Dragon Goddess commanded the gods to leave Evera at once and settle upon the Elemental Planes. Most joined her upon the Elemental plane of Earth and Nature—a lush paradise filled with forests and magic.
