Ariaven, Protector of the Families (ari-even)
When the Goddess Narmiraen saw that her Fairies alone would not be enough to care for and protect the plants she made, she decided to create the Elves, who would be able to withstand the destruction caused by the Dragons with their ingenuity and endurance.
First she created Fliadalis, and his twelve companions to lay the foundations of elven society. When she saw that the first ones learn quickly and take challenges well, she gave life to new elven groups all over Evera.
One of Fliadais' companions was Ariaven, a druid of the Deerrest, who later became Narmiraen's first priestess. According to tradition, the goddess taught the woman all the wisdom represented by priestesses and Shonla. Ariaven founded the Circle of Narmiraen, which was initially a druidic circle protecting the Valley, and later transformed into the Church we know today.
She later married Fliadais and gave birth to a daughter, Siora. The family settled on Tree of Life and founded the church in Forestdeep. She taught all her life and led many generations of priestesses. She died at the end of her extremely long life, at the age of 1200.
After the death of the high priestess, the Valley was left without a religious or secular leader. Siora's two daughters found partners from different tribes, and their distinct thinking often led to arguments. The Circle decided that the wisest solution would be for Nehalenor to be headed by a Council, and thus the Shonla was formed.
Her sanctuary stands on a spacious terrace in Forestdeep, where parents sacrifice for advice and to protect their children. Smaller sanctuaries can be found all over Evera, most are found in the Kingdom of Vasanna.

Isteni Uradalmak
Family, Home, Children, Protection, Healing. Ariaven is the first mythological mother figure in elven culture.
Hittanok
According to Ariaven, a mother's first duty is to raise her child's safety and pass on Narmiraen's teachings. Protecting the home and the family is primarily a woman's task. This includes maintaining health and fending off attacks (no wonder most elven girls are trained in armed combat sooner than some boys). Ariaven sets an example for all Elf women with her wisdom, strength and care.
Ünnepnapok
Ariaven has no festival, but where she is worshiped as a goddess, offerings are made to her at the birth of a child, when a child is sick or injured, and when it recovers. In Vasanna Elves and even Humans visit her shrines at those times.
