Eagle owl

This large, nocturnal bird of prey lives in temperate regions, mainly on the continents of Utea and Lifeon. Beside it can appear in other areas, as a familiar of wizards and witches. Being a persistent, strong and intelligent bird, it is an excellent companion for its owner. Maybe that is why the Shonla, the leading priestesses of Nehalenor, chose it as they messenger and scout. The Shonla keep in touch trough the owls  with the Scavengers, who working outside the valley. According to unconfirmed sources, a vasannanian pro-narmiron group is also called "The Eagle-Owls".
