Antares

On any map or by word of mouth, from those who do not ever go to Antares, it looks just as a backwater town, or small village - nowhere of consequence. It origins was as a Trade Post, in 1127AG. The locals of Antares do not mind, for they get lot less random travellers and interlopers. They do get numerous rich merchant visitors from Pi-Chu, who attend plays and balls, and the like, in Antares - who keep the town's noteability low key.

Antares is located on Volat Island within the Pelago Islands. It is on the southern edge of the Armena Forest. It is a short days journey from Pi-Chu

It is located on a raised ledge that over looks the basin that contains the Amena Forest.

THE TRADE HUTT

General Goods Store & Market Stalls
Although the name 'Hutt" makes it sound small, the town hall with attached store is the largest building in Antares. It has a newly thatched roof and a mixer of stone and wood external walls. The wide solid doors at each end lead into the main hall, and the other pair lead into the general store. The floors are wooden planks, which get sweep and moped daily.
The market is held inside the main hall twice a week.

SAARINEN THEATRES

Playwriter and Director: Marieann Atliners The opened air theatre backs onto the roofed theatre. The Theatres are not only used for the productions, but also to hold magnificent masked balls.

THE ETHEREAL HOTEL

The inn is a three storey brick building, with high ceilings on the ground floor. It is well lit by a hangng hooded lanterns and candelabras. Accomodations consist of six large rooms on the top floor, each with own hearth. Another eight medium size rooms are on the middle level.
Also on the ground floor, is the walkway through to the separated health spa and bathhouse.
Each storey is reached by wide decorative staircases. Dining is available in the ground floor, through double patterned glass doors, near the reception desk.

THE STAG'S ANTLERS

Modest Drinking Tavern & Inn

Description: The tavern is a stone-walled simple building, with a reinforced wooden door and a small vegetable garden. It contains a number of small braziers, and a plain fireplace - where a dark grey fur rug has been placed for the large chocolate brown Massif Bruno.
The second floor offers four bedrooms - each with a double bed and two single beds.

It is a nice looking tavern - inside as well as on the outside. Stone beams support the upper floor and the fans attached to them. The walls are clear of most things, except a high up massive pair of stag antlers - said to be off a Giant Stag. Signs do show that plenty of things used to hang on the walls - likely they have probably been knocked off by customers who had too much to drink.
The tavern itself is often quite packed and full of noises of people enjoying themselves. Locals seem to be the primary clientele. Several long tables are occupied by seperate groups of people, all enjoying themselves. all bar three of the other, smaller tables are also occupied by people who are indulging in great food and many drinks. Even most of the stools at the bar are occupied. No one looks up as you enter - apart from the barkeeper and the dog.

The oblong building is made of clay, with patterned curtains in place of a door and in the windows. Symbols of spirit animals are curved into the outer walls.
All items in the store relate to the trees, and animals.
