Múlíat Mountains

The Múlíat Mountains1 form the western part of the southern highlands of the Dragonían continent. They are bordered by Sjorg Desert to the west, Korrei Desert to the northwest and the Southern Desert to the northeast, Tærp Mountains to the east, Derkniss Sea to the southeast, Hahagak Sea to the south and Súrkniss Sea to the southwest. Although technically part of the mountains, the Dakrúzú Peninsula is often considered a distinct region due to its unique geography.
The mountains are home to a number of sapient species and cultures, most prominently Gobíls to the north and west, Kúxes at the heart of the region, the Znagrúk Empire to the southwest and Exíans (distant relatives of Kroks) to the east.

Geography

The Múlíat Mountains are tallest in Dragonía, with the highest peak, Exirglarp, located to the south, not far from Hahagak Sea.
The mountains are divided into several regions: Kvaror to the northeast (original homeland of the Kroks), Darlaa to the west; Hrax to the southwest, Dakrúzú Peninsula to the south and Lássordikía to the east.

Fauna & Flora

The area around Exirglarp is notable for being the only place in Dragonía where the majority of bird species are capable of flight. Other notable animals found in the mountains are Sjerg Antelopes, wild sheep and honeypot ants.
