Vövlúrr Lake

Vövlúrr Lake1 is one of the major lakes found on the western Vorran Peninsula, located roughly halfway between the Bay of Lúrrtún to the south and Akveb Ridge to the north, at the heart of the Krokish territory of Kútvor, and is sacred to the inhabitants.
The area around the lake is a center of Tree Silk production on the western peninsula, and the local Kroks often go fishing there, though only at dawn or dusk. The reason for this is that due to the influence of the element of Light, Vövlúrr Lake reflects sunlight so intensely that it can render those blind who linger there for too long.
Because of this, most of Kútvor's fish comes from the Bay of Lúrrtún or the Kvór-í River to the northeast, where the effect is less pronounced.
