Hrens

Hrens¹ are Gobíls inhabiting the northern Múlíat Mountains in southern Dragonía, whose lifestyle as nomadic hunters and fishermen resembles the ways of the Proto-Gobíls -common ancestors of all Gobíl cultures- the most. They are notably shorter on average than most Gobíls.

Apparel

Hren clothing is made almost entirely of animal skins, though imported woolen cloth is sometimes used by the southern tribes, and are invariably adorned with beads, plaques and and small figurines carved from bone.

Religion

Like all Gobíls, Hren religion revolves around the worship of the goddess of the sky and god of the earth, called Gega and Klexa, respectively. Animal skulls are hung on trees as an offering to Gega, while Klexa receives libations of blood. Spirits are believed to inhabit prominent rock formations, trees, rivers and streams as well, but are generally not worshipped.
