The cutest and most handsome of all birds, with its fluffy golden feathers.
They fill the streets of Esteille and have become the symbol of our city.

Amazing singer

Their delicate songs fill all with awe.
Their ear piercing cris fill all with ire.

Aggressive

Very territorial and deep dive at people:

in spring during love season,

in summer when they have babies,

in winter when lots of foreign birds migrate here,

in winter when it's cold and there is no food...

Protect us

They eat river moss, a terrible plague that would cover the entire city if their seeds were not destroyed so thoroughly.
The one summer a ritual killed all birds in the city, river moss killed a thousand peopel with its toxic fumes.

Protect them

No matter how aggressive and annoying they are, they are essential to our life in Esteille and ought to be protected.
Attacking them, touching their nest, and bothering them during courting period are all illegal!

Take care of the golden pricker and it will take care of you!

River—Drinks—Keep the river clean for the birds!
