About the Author

I’m a French fantasy writer living in the UK. I have an MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. I‘ve worked in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, done some teaching at a university, and am currently working as a researcher.   The characters and worlds I write reflect this background, in particular with the way I write about magic and technologies, my characters liking science and innovations, or several of my novels being set in universities. My worlds are also often set in France (especially in the North and the amazing city of Lille where I’m from) or in secondary worlds inspired by French culture, or they feature French characters. Besides science, history is one of my passions, and many of my novels have an alternative history setting. My favourite periods are the 18th and 19th centuries and ancient history.   On my website, I enjoy writing about my characters and worlds and making art about them. I love being able to share some of my writings before the novels are published, and I have a lot of flash fictions and bonus content available to read if you want to discover my worlds.
