What is the semaphore network?

A network of semaphore towers located throughout Nélannie to send messages at light speed and relay them to their recipient!

Not only the royal network reserved for military and diplomacy! Enjoy the private semaphore network, available to you for a small fee!

How does it work?

It's all thanks to our specially enchanted chalkboards and runically engraved mirrors! The height of technology developed by the enchanting guild and rune guild! This amazing magic works even by cloudy weather and at night!

You write or draw your message on the chalkboard with chalk.

We burn our secret ingredient mix to make a flame and project its light behind the board.

The magic encodes the message into the light and send it on the mirror.

The mirror is angled in the direction of another semaphore tower and reflects the light there.

The paint on the outside of that tower lights up in a specific pattern depending on which tower is sending the message.

The tower operator move their mirror to the right direction and angle to receive the message.

The message is projected onto a new chalkboard that uses its chalk reserve to copy it.

The operator transfers the message to another tower according to the semaphore path indicated in it.

The final receiving tower copy the message on paper and send a runner to deliver it.
