Unsurprisingly, the Dark Lord lives in a big manor fit for such an important and amazing ruler. I've had the honour of being invited a few times to take part in big rituals that gathered the whole of Dark society and I was as impressed by our lord, the magic of the rituals and the estate itself! All of them are worthy of a lot of gushing.

What
A wide esate on which are built a big manor & its dependencies. Its location is wildly speculated to be the old Cenlys estate taken over by the Dark Lord after his family died in "mysterious circumstances". If so, it has been upgraded & is now luxurious.Defences
It is super well defended, with the entire place beyond the reach of the government. Very powerful wards protect the estate & make it disappear from the eyes of anyone not invited in. Certainly strong enough to have been powered by human sacrifices...Library
Enormous library. He allows his favourite followers to use it. It is famous for the variety of topic & exotic origin of the books. It has tons of historical books as everyone knows he loves research & knowledge & keeps offering him books from ther family's library.Garden
Very wide gardens cover most of the estate. The biggest area is a pleasure garden used for entertaining. Sections are out of bound for the public & are rumoured to be filled with exotic ingredient plants that can be harvested for use in artefact crafting, rituals & poisoning enemies of the Dark.

A gigantic throne room made to intimidate an army into obedience. The walls & the ground are covered in runic geometric designs that control protective magic to counter assassination attempts.Ballroom
For dancing but also for big public celebrations, religious festivals & rituals. It has an adjoining veranda & wide balcony with a staircase that leads to the garden so as to continue the party outside.Dueling room
For the training of the troops & for the Dark Lord to have fun playing with his closest followers. With enchanted manequins to fight & obstacle courses filled with ladders, ropes, climbing walls & traps.

Ritual rooms
A ton of different ritual rooms to practice all kinds of magic. The classic rooms have grooves carved in the ground to allow for liquids or mercury to flow through. There are enough rooms to have all of the main sets of carved patterns, with small wooden locks that can be added to adapt each pattern in small ways. A few rooms have been designed to have specific vibes to enhance the symbolism of the rituals—for example, one is covered in dried blood of unknown origin... Let us also ignore the shackles fixed on some walls, nothing suspicious to see at all! Other rooms are for the practice of more esotheric forms of magic that the Dark Lord probably learned in his years abroad. An example is a sand garden with strange rake tools to make patterns in the sand.
