We took some time to bind our wounds & discuss whether we should continue or not. After a night's rest we hesitantly decided to hunt down the Tolokand. We found it soon, with it once again giving us a serious fight, even in it's weakened state. After we defeated it we found a nearby place to camp. We again headed north the following day. We traveled for another week & a half, following a path, before we found a cavern into a cliff face. It was apparent this would have been right where the dome started. We headed into the cave... This was clearly a ruins of a worked cave. As we rounded a bend we saw a stone creature that immediately melded into the wall. Sir Arathur believed it was a Grikkitog, a type of Aberration. They were generally evil & it was likely about to attack. He called a warning to his companions! Then it attacked, with eyeballs and giant maws appearing all over the cave! While it was shocking, Rizadoman strode forward & screamed at the creature. Many eyes looked back in shock! This allowed our martial characters to hit it in all the weak spots, making short work of the creature. We headed in further, exploring some dead end side passages, before we started to hear muffled voices ahead. Sir Arathur was able to sneak ahead to see if he could make out more of the voices. He was able to tell they were speaking in Aklo and that there were 3 distinct voices. They appeared to be guards playing some sort of game and passing time. He snuck back to the group, explaining what was going on. They decided to head over that way and attack the group, hopefully, with surprise. Arriving there they found the door locked. Leon kicked it in, revealing 2 very muscular man-sized creatures along with a 3 armed lizard man. The fight was on! The large creatures proved to be very tough, almost killing the party several times. Luckily, the three-armed creature used an ability to teleport out of the room and just run away. After we killed the 2 large creatures using cold to stop their regeneration we found some crafting components in the back of the room that were obviously for crafting the wands that turned people into Aberrations. There was also a crafting manual written in Aklo that explained the creation process. The key ingredient seemed to be a bit of powdered Hekatonkheires heart.
