After gathering some supplies we headed out with Captain Yosbin Fizzleboot aboard his submarine, The Magnificent Golden Tadpole of Submergence! He read off the rules to us, which most of us took note of. He gave each of us a potion of water breathing. We travelled for about a day when suddenly we came to complete stop. Down below we found a brood leech swarm. We quickly fought it off. Taking a few minutes to heal up we then headed out the hatch in the bottom of the submarine to investigate what had stopped us in the water. Sir Arathur went out alone and found some kelp wrapped around the propellers. As he started removing the kelp a Giant Octopus swam out of the darkness and attacked, grabbing him. Luckily Jemaig was able to pull him free using the rope tied around his waist. The heroes took a few minutes to regroup and prepare before heading back into the water. The Giant Octopus immediately attacked. The group was victorious but it was a tough fight. We finally managed to drive off the Giant Octopus. Heading back inside we rested up and were able to continue on.
The next day we spotted the enemy ship on the horizon. We made some plans while we waited for nightfall. Once it was fully dark, Yozbin drew close to the ship and let us out. Climbing onto the ship we were soon found by a clockwork creature that immediately attacked us. Dold soon knocked it over the side of the ship. We attempted to move quietly through the ship, but again were soon heard by 2 of these clockwork creatures. We managed to kill one quickly, but the other ran off to get help. We followed it, killing it, but not before it opened a door with a 4 armed clockwork creature. This one turned out to be a spell caster. It cast some spells at us and fled. Jemaig gave chase while the rest of us attempted to silence the alarm it had started. This had limited success with the alarm finally silenced but also the anchor raised and then released from the ship. We ended with most of the party on one side of some black tentacles with a ring of fire in the center of them. Only Jemaig was on the far side still trying to stop the spellcaster.
