Hunting the Iron Beast

After loading our supplies we started towards the portal, looking for the Iron Beast. After about a day we spotted the Iron Beast heading the other way, back towards the island we had left behind. We turned to follow, but it was clear the ship was faster than our little submarine. We soon found ourselves back at the island, with the Iron Beast moored nearby. They had beat us there by several hours. We chose to try to sneak up from the far side of the island & take out any landing parties in hope of wearing them down while they were split up. We cast Water Breathing & swam towards the island... We found noone on the island, but shortly after we arrived we saw a large crate thrown overboard from the Iron Beast. It was followed by a large creature that pushed the crate to shore, where it was met by 2 Androids. They started dismantling the crate. We chose to charge them at this point! We ended up in a fight with the large 4 armed automaton & 2 Androids. After a vicious battle we defeated them and slunk back into the sea, as the Iron Beast started lobbing shells at the island. We took a day to heal and rest up, then using water breathing, we snuck up on the Iron Beast. We climbed aboard and were making good progress into the bowels of the ship when we were ambushed by an overwhelming force of Androids & captured. We spent several weeks in a cell before there was some sort of malfunction on the ship. It allowed us to escape our cell & eventually, the ship. We were able to explore the ship unimpeded for the most part, confirming there were no other prisoners on the ship. We then took our chance to escape to a nearby landmass. We avoided the town we could see there, fading into the surrounding area.
During our first night camped there we were approached by a follower of Turgenak, an Iruxi named Crezlin. He was a very stealthy individual who knew something of alchemical compounds. He was there to destroy a portal that the Androids were coming from. He told us he was sure the Androids intended to destroy all other forms of sentient life. He also told us that he had seen more people "like us" brought here. They were all killed. He said if we helped him destroy the portal then he would help us build a boat to get back home.
