Where does this portal go?

We returned to the underground complex, moving past where we had fought the Clockwork Dragon. We soon found a portal similar to what we had come to this world through. The air in this large cavern seemed to warp & distort. Reality seemed tenuous here. As we moved into the room a creature with many mouths and eyes rose slowly from a pool in the room. It began speaking to us in Iruxi in many different voices. We confirmed it was Nihzor & it definitely wanted to "change" us into aberrations. We fought the creature to a standstill, then finally it ran back through the portal. We tried to figure out how to close the portal, with no real success. However, we could see the creature on the far side, quickly regenerating. While most of us started running away Stirling tried to break the portal as a Dragon. However, we soon heard a scream abruptly cut off. It sounded as if Stirling was in trouble. We turned around to see what we could do! When we arrived at the portal we found no sign of Stirling, until we peered through. Floating in the chaotic distance we saw Stirling's Gold Dragon form. With little thought for our own safety we quickly dove through to save him or die trying! As we flew towards him we saw the creature moving back towards us. However, we managed to retrieve his unconscious body, returning through the portal, before the creature could get to us. Once through we began smashing franticly at the portal in an attempt to smash it! We were successful, sort of. The portal was smashed, sealing Nihzor on the far side, but let loose a burst of chaotic energy. Most were hurt or dropped by this, but several were confused & Sir Arathur turned to stone after a few minutes! Eventually the confusions wore off and the group headed back for town.
Luckily, Rizadoman was able to cast Stone to Flesh the following morning. Sir Arathur was saved! We found some treasure in the pool that Nihzor had come out of. We then talked about what our plans were. We decided to report back to Stormbreaker Cove, with tentative plans to go after the Undead dome area afterward.
