Broken Chain Tattoo

The Broken Chain is a common symbol used by the Defiers, and it can be found often as a marker or graffiti. Dedicated Defiers get a tattoo of a chain being broken, but there is not a set design. Those who openly or brazenly embrace the philosophy will get it in a prominent and unmistakable design, while those who are more covert will blend it into another design, get it in a less seen area, or even an enchanted tattoo that will only show in the right circumstances.

History

The chain tattoo started to grow in prominence in New Caliber  in the last few decades, as refugees from southern Xianshou joined in the movement. It spread quickly with younger Defiers, who are the bulk of the movement.
