Aviennech (Ah-vee-ench)

Also known as Elven, Aviennech is the ancient tongue of the Midlands Elves, spoken by the red elves of Yorland, the drow of Helgest, but best known as the official language of the High Elven kingdom of Avienne. Every citizen of Avienne was required to know Elvish, and even common was rarely heard there. It was long considered the language of high society in the Midlands, though Addamians tend to view it dismissively.
