Everflow

A combination of a vast forest, great lake, and wetlands, the Everflow is a vast renewing region of water, from five to fifty feet deep, in central Durand. The lake is dominated by giant trees that grow from the lakebed to rise above the waterline as high or higher than a standard forest. The largest of these trees in the Everflow form large opening that act as portals to the elemental plane, pouring out pure water in continuous waterfalls.

Geography

The Everflow fills the center of Durand, and it's waters are the basis of the rivers and wetlands that flow through the peninsula. With how large the Everflow is, there are distinct regions within. Most of it is a swamp, filled with large Cypress trees that rise high above. The border regions are more marshy, giant rivers of grass with scattered tree islands to be found. One region in the south forms The Muck, where the water flows as a slough, creating a region of grass-covered mud that can draw people in.
